Expect Heavy Traffic In Downtown Rockford Today Through Saturday

If you're headed downtown tonight, tomorrow, or Saturday, get ready for a bunch of traffic. A statewide wrestling tournament is taking over BMO Harris Bank Center bringing in hundreds of families to downtown. The weekend event begins at 4:30 this afternoon (#sorrydowntownworker) and concludes late Saturday evening.

Rockford Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Rockford are collaborating to do their best to "direct traffic and minimize delays for both commuters and visitors", according to the City's Facebook post.
