After years of using and abusing pain pills, The Funky QB, Jim McMahon has made a change to Medical Marijuana.

According to The Chicago Tribune, McMahon has been plagued with health problems following his 15-year career and multiple concussions. He has been diagnosed with dementia deals with depression, memory loss, as well as vision and speech problems.

About 4 years ago I did the TV play by play for the Chicago Slaughter Indoor Football Team. Jim McMahon was one of the majority owners. I can remember trying to put together an on camera interview with Jim, it was very difficult. He was feeling "no pain" and trying to get him into the interview and put multiple sentences together was very hard. It was very obvious that he had some issues, but now it appears he's doing a lot better.

Jim McMahon has kicked a 100 Percocet a month habit and  now uses Medical Marijuana to deal with the pain.
