Drunk Fighting In Rockford McDonald’s Drive-Thru Leads To Arrest

Here's another story that screams "Florida!" but actually happened in Rockford.

Let's set the scene. It's McDonald's on 11th Street at 2 a.m. and someone really needed so food (and probably a large coke). Everything was probably as normal as you can get for a drive-thru at bar time until one man decided that needed to change.

According to WIFR, police were called to the McDonald's and arrived finding an angry man yelling at another driver in the drive-thru. (Maybe he got cut off at the point where the two menu's merge to one lane...) The man failed a sobriety test and then Police found a gun in the center console of his car and he didn't have a concealed carry permit.

The Winnebago man faces a DUI charge and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He's being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
