Some of the best ideas occur while drinking beer. Usually it's in that all-important 3-5 beer range that good ideas happen. Once you start on that sixth brew, the 'good judgement' area of the brain completely shuts down. How about 520 beers? Enter Todd Ruggere.

Here is the start of an email I received yesterday:

I drink beer to raise money for cancer. Over the past 2 years I’ve raised almost $100,000 by drinking beer. In 2013 I drank a beer in all 351 Massachusetts towns and raised $43,000. This year I drank a beer in all 169 Connecticut towns to raise money for cancer research and raised over $50,000.

Needless to say, Todd got my attention. I spent a few minutes on the phone with him to talk about the hundreds of beers and thousands of dollars he has raised and donated to cancer centers in New England. We raise our glasses of refreshing Eagle Eye Brew to Todd and the cause.

Todd is gaining the attention of beer lovers and cancer haters all across America. They are helping him reach his goal of knocking back a cold one in all fifty states.
