Double T & Comedian Don Jamieson Hang At Chicago Open Air
Double T hangs with comedian and host of That Metal Show, Don Jamieson, at the Chicago Open Air Festival and they talk Ozzy, Cheap Trick, and more.
The first time I experienced "That Metal Show" on VH1 Classic, I was instantly a fan. I immediately reached out to my favorite host of the show, Don Jamieson. We instantly bonded over our mutual love of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.
Through the years, I've had Don on my radio show several times. I even got to see him perform at the Cubby Bear in Chicago when they took "That Metal Show" on the road.
I was planning to attend Chicago Open Air on the last day to check out Ozzy. I saw on Social Media that Jamieson was working the festival. I was hoping to run into him, which I did. After catching up, we were able to sit down and talk music. It's always fun talking to him. Here's how it went.

Special thanks to Tom Leu from Sound Matters, heard Saturday afternoons on our sister station WROK, for recording the interview.
I also ran into Riki Rachtman former host of Headbangers Ball on MTV. He now hosts "Racing Rocks" which airs Sundays 10am-12pm on The Eagle.
It was great seeing Ozzy again. It had been several years since I've seen him do a solo show. He put on an awesome show.

If you've never been to Chicago Open Air, I suggest checking it out next year.
It's an excellent festival. Besides the music, they have tasty gourmet good and craft beer, tons of vendors, and the Headbangers Bier Hall.
