For this episode of Things Double T Has Never Done In Rockford, Double T helps coach a Jr. IceHogs team for a game.

I started this series a few months ago. It has given me the opportunity to get to know my community much better and check out new things. Plus, I've had a great time doing it.

A couple of months ago, I received a message from Brian Weavel. He is the head coach of a Bantam level Jr. IceHogs team. Nicknamed "The Convicts" because their uniforms look similar to orange prison jumpsuits.

He invited me to come help coach the kids for my series "Things Double T Has Never Done In Rockford." I was able to join them last weekend for a very special game at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

Here is a video of my experience...

It was such an amazing time. The players and coaches were so nice.

I got to the arena an hour before game time. I helped figure out the line-up, come up with some plays, and give a pre-game speech.

I had the best seat in the house, on the bench. It was great getting the in-game experience. A real feel for it. I participated in the coaching duties too.

I've always been a huge hockey fan, so I appreciate them having me out.
