Do You Feel Safe In Rockford?

With everything that has been happening lately, do you feel safe in Rockford?

I know there is a serious crime problem here, but don't get me wrong. I feel like there are a lot of great things happening in Rockford too.

I think the new mayor and police chief have a lot of work ahead of them, but I have faith they can help fix the problem.

This is my home and I want to stay positive.

Sometimes it's hard when you wake up to bad news.

"A man was shot outside of the Winnebago County Justice Center Monday night."

If people are getting shot there, that is a little troublesome.

It seems like I've been hearing it a lot lately. People don't feel safe in Rockford.

What do you think, do you feel safe?

Are you afraid no matter what, even if you're at home?

Are there only certain times of the day or areas in town that worry you?
