DeKalb Man Wins Big in Illinois Lottery

A man in DeKalb spent $25 on an Ultimate Crossword scratch off ticket and won BIG!! My dude always buys those tickets and sometimes is a winner, but not to the tune of $75,000. I tend to stick with the dollar tickets that way if I win a buck or two I still feel like I've come out ahead.

Bruce Channell of DeKalb took a chance on one of the more expensive scratch-off games and was rewarded for it. He won $75,000 on the ticket he bought at the FAS Mart on 4th Street in DeKalb. For decades Channell says he's been playing the lottery, but this is biggest win to date.

With his winnings, Channell plans on taking his wife on a  European river cruise and to pay for his daughter's wedding.
