NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick's, feelings were hurt when she was booed by fans.

Growing up in Roscoe, Danica Patrick has a lot of fans in the Rockford area. Whenever she's racing or has an appearance in the area, many stateline fans come out to cheer her on.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the case this past weekend in Pocono.

According to usatoday.com,

"NASCAR driver Danica Patrick was booed by fans following Friday’s qualifying for the Pocono 400 after her security turned fans away for autographs."

"I don’t appreciate the booing. It hurts my feelings. I’m a person, you know what I mean? I’m a person, too. I have feelings. When you boo me, it hurts my feelings."

Looks like she got a little sensitive.

Sounds as if the fans were giving all the drivers who wouldn't stop to give autographs a hard time.

I could see if it was a bunch of kids waiting for autographs, but it looks like it's adult autograph seekers. They probably have many things already signed by her.

Don't get me wrong, I like to collect autographed items too. It just gets ridiculous sometimes how the adults hound the people. Plus, they get really mad if someone won't sign something.

I know Danica can be standoffish at times, but I don't think she was in the wrong here.

I think it's great she went over and confronted the booing fans.

What do you think?
