The staff at Rags of Honor, a printing company out of Chicago, employs veterans that struggle with homelessness. After the game Saturday night, according to WGN the veteran employees got right to work.

The minute that last pitch goes, [we] fire up the presses and get to work. - Rags of Honor Founder Mark Doyle

Rags of Honor began operation in 2013. Within one year they moved to a much larger facility on Chicago’s Northwest Side. The move was costly, but thanks to help from the aerospace company AAR Corp., Rags of Honor employs most that 24 veterans and they has plenty of work thanks to the Chicago Cubs heading to the World Series. Rags of Honor have printed up around 10,000 shirts with lots more to come hopefully in about 4 or 5 games.

Hats off to Rags of Honor for making things happen. We could use a lot more companies with this across the country. Hopefully the next week or so will keep all of these men and women very busy.
