Could the ‘Coffin Challenge’ Be Coming to Six Flags in Gurnee?
Guys, I can't make this stuff up. Six Flags St. Louis is celebrating their 30th Anniversary of Fright Fest this year by giving away cash to people willing to spend 30 hours in a coffin with one bathroom break a day to possibly win $300, Six Flags season passes and other prizes.
Here's how the Coffin Challenge works according to sixflags.com/stlouis:
Six coffin dwellers will be chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin, from 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 13 until 7:00 pm on Sunday October 14.
Coffin dwellers will be allowed to bring a friend along during Fright Fest operating hours, but they must brave the non-operating hours alone. Well, not exactly alone, some of our Fright Fest Freaks will be lurking about in the darkness. Anyone who gets out of their coffin for any reason, with the exception of the designated bathroom breaks, will be out of the contest.
If you're wondering about the allowed bathroom breaks, they're for 6 minutes every hour. You will have to eat, sleep and drink in a coffin for 30 hours straight. If this is your kind of a great time, register to participate in the Coffin Challenge by October 3 by clicking here.
There has got to be an easier way to earn $10 an hour than laying in a coffin...for 30 hours. Nope. Count me out.
Oh wait, the biggest perk of this contest is....you get to keep the coffin you just laid in for 30 hours. Now it's totally worth it, right? 😨
If you would like to win 2019 season passes for Six Flags Great America in Gurnee WITHOUT having to lay in a coffin for 30 hours, just listen at 7:35 every morning this week for your chance to win them from Q98.5.
