All things considered, I think this woman would've preferred that her house was haunted.

There's a college student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro whose name is Maddie, and lately, she and her roommates have been worried they might have a ghost in their house.

Items had been disappearing, there were strange hand prints on the wall, and they heard rattling in the closet, you know, lots of classic ghost stuff. So finally, on Saturday, Maddie got up the courage to open the closet and check.

The good news: It wasn't a ghost.
The bad news: It was a creepy dude who'd broken into the apartment and was trying on Maddie's clothes.

She says, "I open the door and he's in there, wearing all of my clothes. My socks. My shoes, and he has a book bag full of my clothes."

The cops came and arrested 30-year-old Andrew Swofford for breaking and entering.
