Did anyone else notice the Bears didn't look too good on Sunday? Losing to Miami 27-13 at Soldier Field. That's 0-3 at home and 3-4 on the season.

I think it's fair to say that this weekend's game against the Patriots is a must win for the Bears if there is any hope left for a post-season appearance. The team certainly seems to be in a sort of free fall and truth be told, I don't pay enough attention to things to really know exactly what's happening in the locker room. Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall have made up hopefully and they're singing "Kumbaya." Probably not though.

It is known that tempers and voices were raised after the game in the locker room. There's no one thing that cost the game for the Bears last week. No way. I think I found out why they may not be the hurtin' machine they should be.

What the hell is coach Marc Trestman talking about? I mean, I know I'm just a pudgy dude who played one year of football in eighth grade (we won first place in our region), but his press conference was like The NotebookFried Green Tomatoes and that Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies all rolled into one group hug. How is anyone supposed to get fired up listening to that?

I get what he was saying, but it sounded a bit too Dr. Phil-ish and Oprah-like. I like my football players and coaches to be more like this:

Maybe they should just show '85 Bears clips (excluding the Super Bowl Shuffle) before games to fire up the team, with some Butkus highlights thrown in.
