A community in Illinois is holding a clothing drive to collect items for homeless veterans to use for job interviews.

It's hard enough to be unemployed and homeless.

Imagine serving your country in the military and ending up that way.

We can't allow that to happen. We have to do everything we can to help out our veterans. They defended our country, so it's time to give back to them.

I believe we should help out our veterans whenever we can. This is the perfect opportunity to step up and help.

"Crystal Lake Country Club members are collecting clothes for veterans to wear at job interviews."

"Clothing can be donated from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day except Monday until the end of September at the Crystal Lake Country Club, 721 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake."

Sometimes people just need a break to go their way. It's difficult to get hired for a job if you don't have the proper clothes to wear for an interview.

This really could be a game changer for someone. If they look appropriate for the interview, they could land the job. That helps them get back on track.

We all have nice clothes hanging in our closet that we never wear. Let's donate to help a veteran improve their life situation.
