14-month-old baby Cillian Jacoby in Rockford has passed and friends and family are asking for help.

You have probably seen baby Cillian Jacoby on your Facebook feed, WTVO and have heard about him from friends and family.

Cillian was a sweet boy who needed a new liver desperately.

Sadly, Tuesday night Cillian lost his battle at 14 months. He had Biliary Atresia, which means he wasn't born with bile ducts.

You may remember WTVO reporting on the story in early September:

The entire community came together hoping for a new liver for baby Cillian.

On my Facebook news, feed I saw friends sharing the story asking for good thoughts and prayers.

Sadly, Cillian has passed, but the community is coming together to care for his family.

According to WTVO, on November 14th there will be a benefit held in Cillian's honor.

It will be at Whiskey's Rockton Inn at 3pm.
