Are Rockford Area Noodles & Company Restaurants Headed For Closure?

A news report surfaced today announcing Noodles & Company will close 55 of their restaurants.

According to NBC 5 Chicago, "The restaurant chain said the closures will help the company eliminate negative cash flow and improve overall performance."

There are over 500 total Noodles & Company restaurants so the chances of the closure are slim but who knows.

The report also says, "Many of restaurants that will be shut down were opened in the last two to three years in newer markets."

Worrisome, when you consider the Machesney Park location opened in October of 2014. The Rockford restaurant is a bit older so if you believe the report that location could be safe.

However, the exact locations due to close have yet to announced.
