Iconic Illinois rock band's classic album sells ten million copies.

In 1967 the band, REO Speedwagon, was formed in Champaign, Illinois. They made a name for themselves playing shows throughout the state including in Rockford. In the 80's, they became one of the best selling rock bands in the United States. REO is still selling out shows across the country.

Now, they've turned diamond. When I say diamond, I'm referring to them selling ten millions copies of one of their classic albums.

"REO Speedwagon's 1980 album, Hi Infidelity, recently was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of 10 million in the U.S."

The album "Hi Infidelity" was a must for your record collection. I played the heck out of mine. Fans wore out their copies on vinyl and cassette until they could finally get it on CD.
