Absurd Rockford Republican HQ Graffiti Vandal Interview Released

A 42-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly defacing the Winnebago County Republican Headquarters.

The incident occurred on early Sunday morning, and Timothy Damm from Rockford was picked up on Monday.

Damm was arrested for allegedly spelling the words "SHAME" and "RAPE" repeatedly using spray paint on the headquarters building.

Get this, Damm was nabbed by Rockford police at Walmart on Monday, you guessed it while buying more spray paint.

Damm was also interviewed by Eyewitness News Sunday morning after the incident. If the story isn't outrageous enough, check out the video.

On top of everything else, Eyewitness News also says after Damm's arrest:

Damm danced on the table in the police interview room, stacked chairs and furnishings, and stripped down to his underwear.

Damm was arrested for alleged criminal damage to property and resisting arrest. He is looking at a possible three-year prison sentence if convicted.
