A Safer Beloit on the way

I bike a lot up in the Beloit area, just did it this past weekend twice.

Beloit has it's beautiful parts and not so beautiful parts.

Along the river it is breath taking how beautiful it is. The park is clean, fun, everyone just having a blast. On Sunday I witnessed family cook outs, a graduation party tons of people fishing and boating.

The brick paved downtown is great as well. The Farmers Market is well run and gain, people just enjoying life.

But like any town there is the good and bad. Beloit's new P.D. Chief looks to put an end to the bad and make things safer.

According to WIFR  Beloit Police Chief, David Zibolskilooks forward to rebuilding the department and developing a new Violence Crime Interdiction Team.

There has been lots of change in The Beloit Police Department after some rough times, hopefully Police Chief, David Zibolskilooks can make his vision for a safer Beloit a reality soon.
