A Former LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputy is Wanted

Lowell Maxwell Ambler of Mendota is considered armed and dangerous and is on the loose.

According to WIFR Northern Illinois authorities are looking for a former LaSalle County Sheriff's Deputy who is wanted and on the loose. Lowell Maxwell Ambler made contact with a woman whose daughter he once assaulted.

Back on August 26th, it is alleged that Mr Ambler entered a home on Lee County grabbed the girl and tied her up. Lowell was arrested in September and charged with home invasion and kidnapping. He was freed on bond, and now after contacting the girl's mother he is on the run.
