Not everyone loves the big city. Here are 5 celebrities who have gone on record to say they hate Chicago.
Growing up in the south side of Chicago, I went to the city quite often. Whether it was for school field trips, a lunch date with friends or work, Chicago is a place I know like the back of my hand.
The big city isn't the place for me though. I prefer the quiet in the suburbs and the peacefulness of the corn fields. But that doesn't mean I hate Chicago. HATE is a very extreme word.
According to Thrillist, there are celebrities who have gone on record to flat out say, they hate Chicago. How rude!
He recently stated that Chicago was a 's***hole' and he wouldn't play there for any amount of money. Really Hank, you could probably use a few dollars. I heard your last tour didn't go so well.
Ah, Jay Cutler's wife. She's famous for being on that "Hills" show on MTV. She isn't doing much now, other than annoying us Bears fans. My dad always said that a football player should never marry a television star. (Seriously, check out the stats and the players slow, or in Cutler's case, fast demise.) Kristin told Elle magazine that she can't wait to get out of Chicago after her husband is done non-quarterbacking because Chicago doesn't feel like home. Yeah, we can't wait too Kristin.
In a letter she wrote in 1991, she complained that learning to play baseball at Wrigley Field for a little movie you may know called A League of Their Own, was dirty work and that our city had no good looking men. Cue all angry frat boy Cubs fans.
